Richard Curtis’ writing just works like a charm for me and I’ll never understand how he does it. This, Notting Hill, Bridget Jones, Love Actually, About Time... the man is just a romcom LEGEND. Now more than ever, I just want to live in his films for the rest of timeeee.

Also... young Hugh Grant. That’s all.

Y’all really thought I was gonna let Christmas me by without rewatching Love Actually? PLEASE.

Sure, it’s overlong, but it’s also outrageously adorable, and I’ll forever cherish this cheese with my whole heart. What can I say? I’m a sap. SUE ME.

Look, if it’s a romcom with Reese Witherspoon, I am IN, say no more

(And this is one of her best so the fact that y’all have given it a 2.5 on here is a disgrace!!!)

Literally one of the most authentic adaptations of A Christmas Carol, no ifs ands or buts about it (and can we talk about how Michael Caine kinda ate this???)

My family and I took shots every time someone said “You’ll shoot your eye out, kid!” and that led to quite a tipsy Christmas Eve

I see all of your (occasionally valid) critiques but no movie feels more like Christmas to me than this one and I will never apologize for adoring it as much as I do!!!
