a slice of life!
I had to retreat to this SamHel t, in hopes of backfilling all of the graphic lesbian sex scenes, decent practical gore fx, and iconoclastic imagery; those familiar nunsploitation elements, that Bloody Nun 3 somehow managed to ignore completely. WTF!?!
The balance has been restored! 😅
I like the opening credits. Sort of has an HBO original series reel feel vibe going.
Sadly, that’s it!
Most of the movie is a snooze fest. By the time the kills start happening, it’s too late! There are some mildly amusing moments to be found towards the end, but the kills are, for the most part, unremarkable.
I consider myself to be a member of the nunsploitation target audience, but after watching this (and the first two for that…
Bring Her Back…
Yet, another three word, three syllable sentence for a title, that I have difficulty ing, when I want to bring up the film for discussion.
Anyways,
Bring Her Back does a better job at steadily building suspense and tension, up to very end, than Talk To Me does, making it a slightly better horror movie viewing experience.
No complaints!
