he had no reason to take his shirt off at the end but im very glad he did

i love this movie for being so bad

the only part that made me cry was the millennial grey redesign of the house (jk this was amazing)

brokeback mountain but they sing now!

first half was pretty corny and felt kind of like a soap opera but they won me back in the end

so disturbing in the best way possible…bring a  bucket for your health and some tissues for your heart

they do a “girl takes off her glasses and is suddenly hot” moment with michael cera in this movie and somehow it works

love that they waited until the last 2 minutes to show joaquin phoenix’s penis

watch fear the walking dead if you wish this movie had more zombies in it

very slow but beautiful at the same time, incredible shot work

gatekeeping this pretty mid movie because i got see it at cannes (french people confuse me)

moral of the story: florence pugh cures all mental illnesses

me when i was 8 with my webkinz

episode is great, ending made me happy but also kind of ruined it

quite a bummer tbh

would love an edit of this movie where its just tom hanks convincing his girlfriend he's actually a kid who made a wish to become a man just so he can break up with her

not often do you find a movie that is so absurd yet so formulaic at the same time that it almost feels intentional

the 1 minute unbroken shot of the dude smoking the cig and playing guitar hero while his girlfriend watched lovingly made this movie for me (it also was like a beautiful film i guess)

not very kind of this movie to rip my heart out and smash into a million pieces

dude i think the main characters might be an asshole and a slut

christine did nothing wrong

what the heck did benji do to deserve that horrific ass death?

even better on a rewatch, movies where you can tell the director had to say something are so important and meaningful

that little kid is the best character in the movie

Movies that gave me nightmares as a child. 

Not much scared me as a kid, since for some reason I was pretty brave, but these movies sure made me want to shit my pants.

• Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory

  children die

• Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom

  My dad showed me this movie as a kid because I loved Indiana Jones. I’m pretty sure you can guess why this is on here. I still really liked the movie though.

• The Cat in the Hat

  Do I really need to explain this one?

• Son of the Mask

  CGI

  That’s it.

• The Incredibles

  I really didn’t like the part where Mrs. Incredible turns into a parachute and then into a boat for some reason

• Children of the Corn

  Evil children crucifying each other really didn’t sit right with me as a 7 year-old

• Halloween

  I had a really traumatic supernatural/dream experience at my grandparents house where I heard their piano playing this song by itself super loudly in the middle of the night

• The Haunting Hour: Don't Think About It

  The idea of having to not think about something so that it doesn’t kill you mixed with constantly see the trailer for this movie on dvds from the library made this a match made in hell for me

• The Sandlot 2

  I was always terrified of the part where the dog chases the kid through the town and then “kills him”. I know he doesn’t actually die in the film but I would never make it to the end because of my short attention span so I always just thought he got murdered.

• Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

  The Child Catcher gave me nightmares and I was always really unsettled by the part where the two main characters pretend to be toys for whatever reason
