Liked it, but we're not 'back' just yet, baby. There's an uneven amount of charisma and star power on display here. Bucky has never been more boring, to be honest; Ghost gets zero development. Alexei/Yelena's dynamic is good and Bob is interesting, but ultimately telling us group hugs save the world...? I mean sure, but every single movie in the MCU up to this point has really suggested otherwise.

Still! Not at all awful, the lowered stakes were a nice change of pace and the post-post-credits were actually intriguing. So yeah. Improvement.

I had forgotten how genuinely batshit insane the last act gets. Good. God.

You know what I miss? Shaky helicopter shots. Establishing city montages. Joey Pants as low-rent hoods. Billy Crystal in lower profile roles. Celluloid. And Gregory Hines.
