Watched for Watch Across the USA challenge (Iowa).
Well, it’s certainly original, I’ll give it that. A very weird experience but ultimately has a good heart.
Fun movie, but the (although good) message was reductive, mishandled, and heavy-handed. Ryan Gosling was incredible as expected and stole every scene he was in, but none of the other performances particularly impressed me.
Theater experience not helped by AWFUL audience on both sides of me. Willing to rewatch at my house, but overall a bit disappointed.
