after 20 abysmal minutes of monkey footage i thought i would hate this, but thank god i held on. 2001 is as gripping, haunting and beautiful as i hoped it would be. 

also ur telling me people watched this in 1968 and walked out of the cinema alive???? 

my brain wouldve short circuited, i’m certain.

I still have no idea how tf it ended if i’m honest. There is goo on my shirt.

Oh men are gonna HATE this

edit: *Some* men (do i really have to clarify that) aren’t gonna like that this film becomes a take down of a privileged lonely white guy. I can’t believe how much slander i’m receiving by pointing that out. My comment isn’t criticising men! I don’t know what else to say to make that clear - The film criticises men, I’m pointing out that that’s gonna be divisive. Please stop calling me a cunt 🩵
