It's impressive the number of times they worked McDonald's into this film.

As someone who saw the original Top Gun when it was released and multiple airshows since then, it was pretty thrilling just seeing an F-14 flying again. Tom Cruise at his Tom Cruisiest was pretty good, too.

With so many Broadway stars, it would've been great if they could have shoehorned more singing into this.

Beautifully, slowly, quietly, devastating.

And it really needs to be seen in a theater for the big gorgeous images and minimized distractions.
