Season 1 Review

Today I did a Rewatch of the entire Andor Season 1 before diving into Season 2 and yep – still obsessed. This show is peak Star Wars, and easily the best Star Wars series that has been created.

No lightsabers, no Skywalkers, just flat out rebellion, tension, and some of the best monologues in the galaxy. The series doesn’t depend on nostalgia/fan service…

I have watched Jack Quaid in quite a few movies over the years and, with each performance, he moves closer to being one of my favourite actors. Novocaine certainly solidified that iration more than any other project. This movie was an incredible amount of fun — it was fresh, fast-paced, and chaotic the whole way…

As a longtime fan of Guy Richie and his distinctive style, I went into Fountain of Youth with a great deal of hope. Unfortunately when leaving the film I felt that there was nothing to connect it with Ritchie's work. The film had no energy, no bite.

The cast here is certainly strong. I'm always happy to see John Krasinski and Natalie Portman and both portray very emotionally-welded performances that are solid.…

Thunderbolts* has undoubtedly taken the crown as my favourite movie so far in 2025 - it would take alot to beat it. Though with Fantastic Four, How to Train Your Dragon, Jurassic World: Rebirth, and Superman the race is still hot.
