Showdown: Because Four Weddings Is One Of The Best Films EVER!

So yeah, Four Weddings is obviously tops.

I can't tell you how much I love Four Weddings and a Funeral and the impact it had on me back in '94. Unfortunately, my love for it far outweighs my love for this showdown as I'm struggling to come up with much else even though there's been a glut of wedding orientated comedies in the past decade or so - but let's face it, they've all been crap! I'll be intrigued to see if anyone's list has Confetti, The Decoy Bride or The Wedding Video on!

I see The Princess Bride is featuring large on many people's lists - it's good to celebrate some late work from the glorious Peter Cook: funniest man ever.

Honorable mentions go to two TV productions which are therefore ineligible; Him and Her: The Wedding, which was fantastic and a great send off to the sitcom, and The Comic Strip Presents: Les Dogs, because Kate Bush <3

There are no films in this list released in the 1910s.
