I was running out of patience. A dumb cop does dumb things to barely scrape through dumb circumstances.

It takes a bit to get to the real inciting incident, and you're hoping for things to get juicy from there, but it doesn't.

It's all too contrived, too convenient, too convoluted to be interesting.
