Celine is so good with dialogue, it’s great to see a movie so heavily feature people just talking to each other and it doesn’t feel like bulky monologue after monologue.

Her characters are so interesting to me. They just seem like people to me even in this weird tone that the film has that I think works very well.

I enjoyed our leads, I’m still kinda underwhelmed by Dakota, but I feel like everyone kinda restrained themselves here.

The hype is real y’all. This movie is that good.

Absolutely love the time Coogler takes in the beginning of this film to set up these characters and relationships. I just wanted to be with them forever. And when the vampires finally hit, it didn’t derail anything. The vamps are cool. It combines a lot of my favorite vampire tropes for these bad boys. The film is also incredibly horny. As it should be if vampires are involved.

What can I say? I love this movie.

I keep hearing how the the first 70 minutes of this sucks and drags, but I’m beginning to think some of you guys aren’t real lovers because that’s my favorite part of the movie.

I love the sexy beautiful energy between Tom and Thandie. I know the production of this was tense, but I think it just made everything on the screen even more explosive. I LOVE the intercutting of the flamenco…
