THAT IS WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT!!!!!

From the second this movie started I couldn’t look away. It fully captivated my attention with its haunting visuals and creepy sounds, and I was eager to see what would come next. 

Fantastic performance from Maika Monroe, who so stoically leads this insane fever dream of a movie. But wow did Nic Cage entirely blow me away. His horrifying look is going to haunt my dreams tonight (and probably many more nights to come)…

This is such a special film that just kind of nails everything it’s going for and trying to say: you’ll be confused a lot in life; you’re not going to get things right every time; and people will come and go and some will stay with you forever. Sometimes a movie about mundane things in life is all you need, and this is that movie that will hit you in a thousand different ways.

Corny and cheesy as hell!!!!! I fully understand what Mike Flanagan was going for, but it really didn’t work on me. I didn’t walk away from it ready to skip down the street or dance with a stranger.
