this is a film about fetishism and confronting the spectator with the perversity of their own desire to know so it kinda ended up being a total vindication of haneke that the group of adult men giggling at everything vaguely sexual spent the last 20 minutes totally silent and clearly horrified at everything that was happening and their own earlier amusement. isabelle huppert deserves one academy award for every time her eye twitches.
