Can solidly say I don’t think I’ll be watching any more of Mandico’s work

Obviously lacks both the emotional gutpunch and intellectual stimulation of Asteroid City, but is able to carve its own lane in Anderson’s filmography. I leave feeling satisfied but like it lacks what I know Wes can achieve at basically any scale. Therapleton and Cera enter his ensemble with so much verve and newness I can’t wait to see what he does with them next.

To even write a review for this feels trite, because the fact that this collection even exists is a minor miracle. To have people in unimaginable circumstances say, “I must create in order to process this”. May we all live to one day see those martyred receive the justice and peace they deserve.
