I sort of find this movie outrageously ugly.. is that ok?

Loved the costumes / sets / music stuff and the way they did the vampire eyes. The pacing was sort of so bad though … it could have committed harder 2 being a vampire movie earlier on … hated when it got into an action movie vibe … had a very 2010s male feminist approach to sexuality if you know what i mean
Now sissy that walk! I think the name of this movie is so good and funny that I was going to make myself like it one way or another. I liked the costumes and sets and music a lot, and I felt moved a few times towards the end. Pacing in the middle was sorta … 🤐 … she was Poor Things
I watched it. I saw a trailer for this a while back and didn’t understand it was a soderbergh and thought it looked nutty and bad … does that make me a label whore? It sort of was nutty anyway, but i liked it. I really hated the first dinner scene, and sort of everything about that younger group of people as an ensemble. Wish there had been some more age diversity there, but the dialogue for them just sort of stunk of something. Maybe knives out.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen this before. I once seeing the opening of one of the sequels at my grandmothers house, where a little girl gets eaten by baby dinosaurs on a beach, and i thought it was very freaky.
Basically, I felt like I couldn’t understand anything anyone was saying. It was like they had marbles in their mouth, or were speaking backwards, or a loud noise would happen when they spoke. I think actually my volume was too low but on some level, I’m right.
DNF on of bedtime.
This was sort of nothing … not a lot of pleasure for me!
I feel like no one was speaking in a period appropriate way … the one New York victim had such insanely major “tiktok acting challenge!” energy.
I don’t think this movie successfully explores what is interesting about a serial killer having been on a dating show … it might not even be curious about it 🤥
