Frequently predictable early Martin Campbell effort that's more interesting for using its goofy central mystery to interrogate Barbara Hershey's truly nasty main character, a woman who seems to make endless demands on everyone around her and can't be bothered to maintain any amount of mutual respect or personal boundaries.
