d'ora in avanti, immaginare il cinema contemporaneo senza la sua presenza sarà difficile: senza Lynch, l'idea di mescolare elementi di realismo magico e cultura pop avrebbe avuto altre sorti, oppure nessuna. la sua estetica riconoscibile tra milioni, il suo sguardo sui temi della memoria, del sogno e della dualità, la sua capacità di esplorare il mistero facendolo sentire al tempo stesso spaventoso e seducente, ecco, tutto questo ce lo porteremo sempre appresso. e se il Cinema Beltrade è fatto com'è fatto, se è rosso dentro e fuori, se apre e chiude un pesante sipario di velluto, se ti invitiamo al "Silencio" prima di ogni film, be', è anche grazie a lui.
