“You look like you’re in one of those bukake videos mate.”

“If her pussy had a … it would be ‘’.”

“It’s too loud… I’m going to ask the DJ if he can play some Morrissey.”

Fuck me... Hilarious how dumb and bad this is. I assume this was co-produced by the makers of FHM, Nuts and Zoo magazines. We do get pimp Super Hans at least.

"Manchester??? Who the fuck said I was from Manchester? I'm from Salford. It's its own city with its own cathedral."

Tunes are on point, and responsible for most of the stars awarded in my rating.

A generic, forgettable film that sadly out stays its welcome with its relentless pursuit of ‘cool’ without any real substance (the relentless fucking camera angles…). Insane collection of bad hair. Early Jack O’Connell is decent. Mark Donovan from The Inbetweeners is less decent. Would have liked more Zawe Ashton.

Wild opening scene was more to see than expected 😂

My kids liked this, which is the main thing. I guess it has a positive message for girls growing up, but is a pretty generic animated kids film with no real standout elements. Too many scenes in darkness.... why??

Can I have Colman Domingo and Toni Collette as parents please?

'Ride Like The Wind' needle-drop was appreciated.

I enjoyed the Kaiju battle at the end, had us all cheering.

Dev Patel was not fucking around with this violently visceral multi-dimensional actioner. It feels part homage and part fresh invention, which works tremendously well thanks to the frenetic and stylish filming, the vibrant and tonally spot-on song choices, and a culturally rich bit of imagery and storytelling.

Revenge flicks are ALWAYS my bag and this was nearly a great one. Visually it all works, but the plot and dialogue…
