Kind of dumb, but at least it’s not going for something elevated. Local small town teens drink, vape, and run a youtube channel until a gang of killer clowns start picking them off in mostly uninspiring ways. The second half is much better than the first and Will Sasso from MadTV was great.

have you ever seen a movie deemed as a classic and after watching it, you realize “damn. that movie really is perfect.”
that’s this one.

the special effects are crazy, it’s hilarious, and it’s a god damn thriller. horror doesn’t need special effects and this is proof of that. also, if you speak Norwegian then the plot of the film will be ruined by listening to the folks from Norway in their helicopters yell it out.

Discovery of the year for me, right alongside Looking For Mr. Goodbar- both brutal and unpleasant. A deeply uncomfortable descent into obsession, jealousy, and image-worship in Hollywood. Eric Roberts is terrifyingly perfect as Paul Snider, a delusional creep spiraling out in the land of pimps, wannabes, and disposable beauty.

The bleakness hits harder knowing it's mostly true- Dorothy Stratten was a real person, plucked from a Dairy Queen in Vancouver and pushed into the Playboy/acting/modeling machine. Director Bob Fosse had…
